Produced by K.C. Mane and Mac T, Crazy Click is believed to have been released during the first two months of 1996. The strongest evidence for its release window is an advertisement printed on the cassette promoting the group’s upcoming album We So Corrupt, which was scheduled for release on March 1, 1996. This places Crazy Click shortly beforehand, making it the earliest known release from the Darkside Click. The group consisted of K.C. Mane, Mac T, Lil Nemesis, Lil Krueger, Devious Baby, Lil Misfit, Lil Body Snatcha, Crazy T, and Gangsta T, delivering the dark, horror-inspired sound that defined many independent Memphis releases of the era. Featuring heavy production, multiple posse cuts, and some of the group’s earliest recorded material, Crazy Click serves as an important introduction to the Darkside Click catalog before the release of We So Corrupt.
