Top Town Playas – New Era (1996)

New Era was produced by Dr. Watts and or Chaz from ARP and released in either very late 1996 or very early 1997. It came out before Criminal Mafia Part #2 and Cloud 9 Click Part #3. Top Town Playas originated from the Blackhaven area of Memphis and were allied with Criminal Mafia, who had an ongoing beef with Cloud 9 Click. The tape features Big Tiny, Dr. Watts, S.P.I., Trey Bay, Malachi, Mr. Carrow, Lamarcuzz, and Mac Keith, documenting another chapter in the rivalries and collaborations within the Memphis underground scene during this period.

    Tracklist:

    1. Big Tiny, Dr. Watts, S.P.I – Shot Callers
    2. Big Tiny, Dr. Watts – No More Hating
    3. Big Tiny, Trey Bay, Malachi, Mr. Carrow – Top Town Bound
    4. Lamarcuzz, Mac Keith, Big Tiny, Mr. Carrow – Black Haven Niggas
