Often referred to as an unofficial Volume #10, this tape was released after Volume #9MM It’s On and rounds out Juicy J’s underground solo run. By the time this project was recorded and released in late 1994, Project Pat was already incarcerated, forcing Juicy J to lean more heavily on other up and coming local rappers like Lil Noid, MC Mack, Skinny Pimp, Carmike, and Tha Joker. This tape marks an important transition point in Juicy J’s career. It would be his last true underground solo album before Three 6 Mafia broke nationally in 1995 with Mystic Stylez. Sonically, it continues the dark, bass-heavy Memphis sound of his earlier tapes. Years later, Juicy J would revisit this title twice: first with a 2003 album named after the tape, and again with his 2022 autobiography, making Chronicles of The Juice Manne a recurring marker of his legacy.
