Released in early 1996, Greatest Hits Part #2 came out before Yo Lynch’s Caughtcha Slippin’ and Criminal Manne’s self-titled debut later that year. Rather than simply recycling older material, the tape compiles some of DJ Squeeky’s strongest productions and collaborations from the Orange Mound camp, featuring an all-star lineup that includes Criminal Manne, DJ Zirk, Tom Skeemask, Yo Lynch, Thugsta, Mac Kyle, Tinimaine, Kilo G, Primo, Lil Grove, 8Ball & MJG, and many others. As well as two extra bonus track never before released. The project captures the signature DJ Squeeky sound that helped define Memphis rap during the mid-1990s, blending heavy bass production, posse cuts, and street anthems into one of the label’s most memorable compilation releases.
