One of the earliest tapes laying the groundwork for the darker Memphis sound. The exact release date is still hard for me to pinpoint, with most evidence pointing to late 1993 or early 1994, during the transitional period when DJ Paul and Lord Infamous were refining their raw horrorcore style before wider recognition. This tape is heavy on blunt talk, street imagery, and minimalistic production, making it an essential precursor to their later, more polished releases. Since the first time I’ve heard this junt years ago, it’s remained as one my favorite releases across any genre. This cassette was purchased directly from Player 1 of the Frayser Click.

Tape is missing part of the last song on either side by about 2-3 minutes
