    A previously unheard and highly sought-after tape produced by Tommy Wright III, Soul Takers surfaced as one of the more obscure releases from his camp. It dropped in 1996 after the Riverside Click and Niggaz of Destruction tapes, continuing that darker, more aggressive evolution of his sound. By this point, Tommy Wright III’s production had fully shifted into that eerie, cinematic style with slower tempos, haunting melodies, and heavy, stripped-down drums. The artists on here lean into that atmosphere, making this tape feel more focused and sinister compared to some of the earlier, more raw releases.
