Previously unheard installment in DJ B.K.’s Dope Ass Master Mix series, dating to late 1991 or early 1992. Until the discovery of this tape, Volume #34 was believed to be the earliest surviving entry in the series, making this an important piece of Memphis DJ history. The track selection reflects the era perfectly, blending Southern street records with national rap staples and bass-heavy club cuts that dominated tape decks at the time. This volume captures DJ B.K. in his formative run, before the series became more widely circulated, offering a rare snapshot of early ’90s Memphis mixtape culture.
