If anyone has some extra time and knowledge, I could really use help identifying features/voices on a few tapes. I’ve done my best on these already, but some tracks are tough and I’d appreciate second opinions or confirmations.

Tapes in question:

Dirty Red & Lil Bay – Tryin’ To Get In
Big Mark – Real Killas
Trauma Center Killaz – Best Of #2
DJ Fela – Niggaz Don’t Die #1
Allied Productions – Down & Out Records
DJ Glock – Tales From Da Southside
Edith To Orleans Click – Unsolved Mysteries
DJ Fela & DJ Rod – Bass Mix #3
DJ Big Mack – Volume #5
DJ Livewire – Volume #6

Specific questions / problem spots:

  1. Dirty Red & Lil Bay – Tryin’ To Get In
    On “Bank Robbery”:
    • Need help identifying the 3rd and 4th verses (after Lil Carson & Lil Bari).
    • Also Track 13 — I’m confident on the 1st, 2nd, and 5th verses being Carson & Lil Bari, but unsure on the others.

  2. Big Mark – Real Killas
    • Track 10 “Killa Pimp” — unsure on features.

  3. Trauma Center Killaz – Best Of #2
    • Track 12 “Psycho Ward”
    • Track 13 “Klondike”
Any help identifying voices here would be appreciated.

  4. DJ Fela – Niggaz Don’t Die #1
    • Mainly looking for another opinion, especially on Side B tracks. Some voices are hard to pin down.

  5. Allied Productions – Down & Out Records
    • I might be confusing Will Chill and Lil Sko on a few tracks.
    • Track 2 “Real Niggas Don’t Play”: after Will Chill’s verse and before Emp Da Pimp — second-to-last verse. Not sure if that’s DJ Skimask.
    • Also unsure if DJ Skimask ever raps on this tape at all.

  6. DJ Glock – Tales From Da Southside
    • Honestly the whole tape could use a second set of ears.
    • Specifically Track 17, and possibly Track 16 as well.

  7. Edith To Orleans Click – Unsolved Mysteries
    • Track 4 “Unsolved Mysteries” has around 10 people on it.
    • Any names, info, or educated guesses would help — this one is especially tough.

  8. DJ Fela & DJ Rod – Bass Mix #3
    • Track 3 “Bloody Glock II” — hard to distinguish voices here.
    • I feel solid on the rest of the tape.

  9. DJ Big Mack – Volume #5
    • Need help with the whole tape. Missing tracks make it harder to reference voices properly.

  10. DJ Livewire – Volume #6
    • Mainly looking for confirmation that my current feature list looks correct, or if anything should be added.

Will also add D.O.N "Seek & Destroy to this as well" tried to ask D.O.N. about this tape and Volume #5 but he hasn't responded

I think that Big Mark song is solo/self titled track, Isn't that Psycho Ward track from D-Pimpin?. for that allied prod, sounds like Mack Mane/Goldie Mac. for that E.T.O. I noticed Lil Dope, might be from that 201 duo that Archie Baldhead produced so might be other members from 201 on that song/tape, (Big Vell/Vell & Black Dymond). Is Mr. Death an alias for Big Mack? & I think I said this already, Big Jag is on Murder, the last verse. sounds like Lay Low on Madman Killa singing the hook, A thing about those Livewire tapes is that some members dont even have verses to reference off of, 2 Skinny is who I think Michelob is but looks like that might differ.

Hope this helps!

Appreciate that, could possibly be Mark on that so I'll let it be. I thought D-Pimpin' was on that song since it was from his solo tape but he changed his delivery so much for it it sounds like someone else, I think that occurrence is when I get most confused during this process. I heard Goldie Mac's names too last night as well since I think he said that name once on his verse, although it is a generalized southern term as you know. Goldie Mac is connected to the same circle however so I will add him in too. Mr. Death is not Big Mack as far as I can tell, Mr. Death goes by Lil 187 under TCK. It is unlikely that Big Mack was a TCK member. Appreciate any and all help my guy

Sorry what I meant was, Killa Pimp being an actual person. I mentioned Mr. Death because you put him under DJ Big Macs video, it also sounds like D-O-N is on track 11 on vol 5.

@ss03 I believe that is actually DJ Big Mack who has the second verse on Ghetto Mentality.
