Orders To The Middle East Are Temporarily Suspended

Due to the ongoing conflict involving Iran and the surrounding region, orders to certain Middle Eastern countries are temporarily suspended. At this time, USPS is not accepting shipments to several destinations affected by the conflict. And UPS charges minimum $280 for shipment to these areas. This currently includes Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Jordan, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. In the past, I have not had any issues shipping to customers in these countries. However, because mail service has been suspended to these destinations, I will unfortunately have to refund any orders placed from affected areas until shipping resumes. I sincerely apologize to anyone impacted by this decision. More importantly, my thoughts are with everyone living in the region during this difficult time. I hope the situation revolves itself soon Seeing these events begin to affect even a small business like mine has given me an even greater appreciation for what those directly affected are going through each day. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Apologies to Herb and everyone else as I initially assumed Herb was behind the recent comments because of the copyright claims I'd received. After looking into it further, I no longer believe that's the case. Based on what I've seen, it appears more likely that these alternate accounts may be connected to the YouTuber TripleJuntz (and possibly Sadoccc), although I can't say that with certainty. If that's true, I'd rather people simply post under their regular names instead of using alternate accounts to stir up unnecessary drama. It would just be a lot easier for people to just go by their regular name instead of being scared of the confrontation they are seemingly creating. Whatever their intentions, are it's definitely not anymore important than this long-term archival project. I'm getting ready to release a large batch of additional 1996 rips, followed by the 1997 tapes. I'm also continuing to invest in better equipment to improve the audio quality of future transfers, and I'm getting better every day at mixing and mastering these absolute classics. I appreciate everyone who continues to support the project and understands what I'm trying to accomplish.

BTW I do understand that many of the tapes in my collection are "bootleg". I have always completely avoided stating inherently whether any specific tape I have is real or fake. Since it causes much ruckus over people who claim to know or have better. I did this to avoid any potential internet conflicts with people since I as someone who was born in 2000 can not definitively label anything real or fake as I was obviously not there. Same goes on the opposite end of the spectrum, as I'm quite that sure I have many original cassettes from the 1990s. Again I do not try to label them as either since it is just opening the door for someone to question your credibility. After collecting for some time I somewhat stopped worrying about the authenticity of tapes as it became too tiresome (I collected tapes to have fun not to question everything). I just bought what I wanted and passed up on what I didn't want, almost nearly disregarding its authenticity. Doing this made collecting much more fun for me personally as a 18-20 year old. However I do find it unfortunate that I have to explain this years later. I believe this situation perhaps shows the lack of understanding and social skills that much of the Memphis Rap community is lacking. My intentions were never to "scam kids". I essentially only want more and more people to discover the genre of Memphis Rap by making it readily more accessible with better quality than before (since it often turns people away). While also making sure that the proper artists and producers are always credited with every release! I'm sure good people can see the work that I am trying to do within both the Hip-Hop community and the Memphis Rap community. I knew that by posting my tapes on Instagram I could help other people avoid the many scammers in the Memphis Rap scene as well! I knew they were bootlegs, but still made the conscious choice to share what they look like to inform this crazed community about what both real and bootleg tapes looked like. Regardless of how it made me look to those who think the worst! Again much love! Maybe I'll drop some unheard 1996 tapes today or later this week since I'm getting so many visitors at this moment!

Good to finally see some new faces pop up in here as I always welcome anyone, online and in real life. However A few new users are seemingly mentioning both Herbie Love & Sun City Publishing in a defensive manner. While I do not understand the reason for his frustrations. I always welcome anyone's opinion on any subject. It glaringly obvious to me that these users are Herbie Love from Sun City. It seems as if he is perpetually trying to initiate conflict, as if I had any strong feelings towards this person to begin with. We are both men on opposite side of the world doing what we love. I do not have the time or energy to beef with anyone. All my previous mentions of both Herbie Love & Sun City were all from a factual standpoint and not opinion based statements. If my channel was deleted by someone, I want to accurately report that information from my forum or any other platform. I say that so that 3rd party bystanders can take note of this when they see it firsthand. I actually find it somewhat comical that someone twice my age is seemingly mad at me all times of the day, Monday-Friday. Regardless I'm going to keep on sharing tapes with the world. I've spent thousands amassing a collection and I love to share it with everyone.

1996 Tape Rips Coming Soon

Got a lot more tape rips dropping soon. Give me a little time to finish ripping everything and exporting the audio in the highest quality possible. I still have around 200 more tapes from 1996 onward left to go through. I'll start uploading them once I'm satisfied with the sound quality. The goal is to preserve these tapes as faithfully as possible while giving everyone the best listening experience I can. Thanks for all the patience and support.

I wish I knew how volatile my forum was beforehand I would have included a Captcha or verification process to screen out the bots. But now since I have so many it seems impossible to delete them all without deleting the entire forum. I know they don't really do anything at all but I'm scared it's going to crash my site or something lol. Regardless hope everyone enjoys all these new videos going up. Which are just new mixes of old rips to try and get the audio as close to the original sound as possible.

Just updated the shop with front and back scans of my original 8.5" x 11" Memphis rap magazine posters and cutouts. These are authentic pieces sourced from original 1990s hip-hop magazines and represent a unique part of Memphis rap history that rarely becomes available. Each poster will be listed for $75 and comes protected in a clear sleeve for preservation and display. This is a new addition to the shop and another way I'm working to preserve and share the visual history of the Memphis underground alongside the music itself. Good news, my YouTube strike from March 16th is finally set to expire in just a few days. On top of that, I was approved for YouTube's Advanced Features yesterday, which should make it much easier to manage and expand the channel going forward. I'm currently preparing to re-upload a large portion of the archive. These new uploads will feature improved audio restoration, cleaner source transfers, better overall mixing, and louder, more consistent volume levels than many of the previous versions. I'm excited to get back to preserving and sharing these rare Memphis rap recordings with the community. Right now, my main focus is finding a reliable long-term platform to host and share the archive files alongside the YouTube uploads. Only Missing 2 Rips Now

I'm currently rebuilding and restoring my Memphis rap archive and am down to just two missing releases. If anyone still has my rips of DJ Paul - Volume #16 and Lil Noid - Paranoid Funk, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share them with me. These are the only two recordings I'm currently missing as I work to reconstruct the archive and preserve these releases for future documentation and remastering. Thank you to everyone who has helped preserve Memphis rap history over the years. Every contribution helps keep these rare recordings from being lost.
