Orders To The Middle East Are Temporarily Suspended

Due to the ongoing conflict involving Iran and the surrounding region, orders to certain Middle Eastern countries are temporarily suspended. At this time, USPS is not accepting shipments to several destinations affected by the conflict. And UPS charges minimum $280 for shipment to these areas. This currently includes Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Jordan, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. In the past, I have not had any issues shipping to customers in these countries. However, because mail service has been suspended to these destinations, I will unfortunately have to refund any orders placed from affected areas until shipping resumes. I sincerely apologize to anyone impacted by this decision. More importantly, my thoughts are with everyone living in the region during this difficult time. I hope the situation revolves itself soon Seeing these events begin to affect even a small business like mine has given me an even greater appreciation for what those directly affected are going through each day. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I would just say to stop cutting out the high-end so harshly. And try to let the high end come in up until you hear clear vocals. As well as leveling out the bass by increasing it to bring out the kick drums in songs. Try to increase or decrease the mid based on how clear the snare and vocals are as well. The main goal is to not cut out what is already existing. But basically pushing up what already sounds good. I used a harsh EQ for instance on my Criminal Mafia Side B rip. That was due to an ear-piercing pitch effect consistent with boots. While I did not cut-out the high-end frequency entirely. I simple leveled it out to match the mid and bass to essentially hide the imperfections. The main advice I would give and I don't like to spill how I do it too much. But I would say to rip something and then wait at least a month before you drop it fr. But check in on at, at different times so your ear can adjust how you like. ONLY RIP TO HOW YOU LIKE IT. I don't rip with the consideration of literally anyone else in mind. I tune it to how I like it and generally try to repair the audio to get it to sound as natural as possible. Bootleg or not. But I never cut above or below a certain frequency which I won't disclose. As well as getting a deck with as many heads as possible. And for Memphis tapes you will need a deck which can play tapes at the proper speed, since most rips are much too slow. I can explain the exact process more thoroughly, however I want to formally do so. So that everyone can get the information at the same time. My first 50 rips were basically mediocre. I had to restart my entire channel in June 2025 Because my rips from March - June 2025 were not up to standard in my opinion. However, I also had gotten a degree in Recording Arts by this point so my Professors had taught me about sound manipulation already. A degree is not necessary at all however just a good ear and time would suffice.

Also for those who don't know, I guess apparently the two Youtubers harassing my page (Triplejuntz and Sadoccc) are both transgender or transvestites and they both seemingly proclaim homosexuality. I'm only pointing this out this now, because all the homosexual things that were being spammed on both my site and my Youtube. Now makes much more sense learning that these hecklers are apparently gay themselves. I honestly thought it would be quite weird for a grown man like Herb to say homosexual things to me online. However it makes much more sense knowing that sadoccc and Triplejuntz are behind it. As insiders tell me they both apparently run an online homosexual discord server under the guise of Hip-Hop, Which is where they originally got the idea to start harassing people within the community. It should also be noted that both Triplejuntz and Sadoccc are still not even 18 years old and have both not yet graduated from grade school. Again, I say this because I will definitely not use my platform to talk down on any children or anyone practicing homosexuality specifically. I created this site to be open to any and everyone, so I will not objectify anyone on this page whether they are gay or not. However since they are indeed children I will have to remove myself from any conversation given the lack of respect for both Hip-Hop culture and black people (since they say nigga but are not niggas) On top of that I literally work in a school as a teacher. So knowing that these users could basically be my students if I applied at their school. Was quite the paradox for me learning that these users were actually half my age. Regardless Trunk Music will continue to drop both albums and tape rips. I plan on dropping two albums this Friday July 31st, since I basically never stop working at all! Much love to this who come from the culture and respect it! Only way you respect Hip-Hip is if if you truly embody every aspect of it and understand it's roots!

Also respectfully for the future I would also prefer only people born before 2005 on my site. If you are younger than 21 please just go to R/Memphisrap you will like it there much more I can assure, as they often talk about memes and nonsense much more often.

Apologies to Herb and everyone else as I initially assumed Herb was behind the recent comments because of the copyright claims I'd received. After looking into it further, I no longer believe that's the case. Based on what I've seen, it appears more likely that these alternate accounts may be connected to the YouTuber TripleJuntz (and possibly Sadoccc), although I can't say that with certainty. If that's true, I'd rather people simply post under their regular names instead of using alternate accounts to stir up unnecessary drama. It would just be a lot easier for people to just go by their regular name instead of being scared of the confrontation they are seemingly creating. Whatever their intentions, are it's definitely not anymore important than this long-term archival project. I'm getting ready to release a large batch of additional 1996 rips, followed by the 1997 tapes. I'm also continuing to invest in better equipment to improve the audio quality of future transfers, and I'm getting better every day at mixing and mastering these absolute classics. I appreciate everyone who continues to support the project and understands what I'm trying to accomplish.

BTW I do understand that many of the tapes in my collection are "bootleg". I have always completely avoided stating inherently whether any specific tape I have is real or fake. Since it causes much ruckus over people who claim to know or have better. I did this to avoid any potential internet conflicts with people since I as someone who was born in 2000 can not definitively label anything real or fake as I was obviously not there. Same goes on the opposite end of the spectrum, as I'm quite that sure I have many original cassettes from the 1990s. Again I do not try to label them as either since it is just opening the door for someone to question your credibility. After collecting for some time I somewhat stopped worrying about the authenticity of tapes as it became too tiresome (I collected tapes to have fun not to question everything). I just bought what I wanted and passed up on what I didn't want, almost nearly disregarding its authenticity. Doing this made collecting much more fun for me personally as a 18-20 year old. However I do find it unfortunate that I have to explain this years later. I believe this situation perhaps shows the lack of understanding and social skills that much of the Memphis Rap community is lacking. My intentions were never to "scam kids". I essentially only want more and more people to discover the genre of Memphis Rap by making it readily more accessible with better quality than before (since it often turns people away). While also making sure that the proper artists and producers are always credited with every release! I'm sure good people can see the work that I am trying to do within both the Hip-Hop community and the Memphis Rap community. I knew that by posting my tapes on Instagram I could help other people avoid the many scammers in the Memphis Rap scene as well! I knew they were bootlegs, but still made the conscious choice to share what they look like to inform this crazed community about what both real and bootleg tapes looked like. Regardless of how it made me look to those who think the worst! Again much love! Maybe I'll drop some unheard 1996 tapes today or later this week since I'm getting so many visitors at this moment!

I'm not upset at all actually I kinda hate that I have to talk professionally for most people to understand. I would rather talk in Ebonics cuz that's what I'm used to lol. Me expressing how I feel is just my opinion. Regardless of whatever underlying emotion may be behind it. If I said someone's rips were ass, it's because I genuinely believe that their rips are indeed ass. It's not because I'm just mindlessly typing away fueled by emotion. I actually wish that I could give my specific thoughts on individuals in the community more often. it's just that all of you seemed to be deathly scared of using your real names. A sense of fear that I personally have never felt lol. If all of your names were revealed and you didn't fell the need to act like a scared Female dog. Then I would probably give more opinions on how I felt about each of you, if you are really just that curious to know?
