While some speculate that this tape predates DJ Paul’s Volume 15, it’s just as likely that it was released shortly after Smoked Out Loced Out in early 1994, as part of a strategic rollout. That landmark Three 6 Mafia release heavily promoted six solo tapes for the year, including this one. The consistent mentions of this solo tape on multiple DJ Paul & Juicy J mixtapes suggest it may have been delayed until the formation of the full Three 6 Mafia crew, as the group began assigning individual projects to each member.
